We are Jeff and Melissa Golden. We live in the small city of Jarrell, Texas, which is just north of Georgetown, or 30 minutes north of Austin, TX. We moved from the Texas panhandle in 2015, to central Texas, first stopping in Round Rock, and in 2017 to Jarrell. It's a small community that is growing very fast.
Jeff - works full-time on this new business and works the family-owned shaved ice business on the side (Texas Avalanche Shaved Ice and Lemonades). With 25+ years in IT and a Bachlelors degree in Computer Technology, he has held many positions with companies in various fields, including Idemia Public Security and Identity, TekSystems, BP, and Textron. He left his employer in July of 2025, in pursuit of self-employment, and has more time to create and run the businesses.
Melissa - works for the county and is learning the new business.
We are excited about this new journey into the world of custom embroidered and printed apparel. We've always wanted to be independent and have our own businesses to run and enjoy with our family, and Stitchin' Awesome is the result of a lot of hard work and time invested.
